Square D QO & QOB Circuit Breakers

Square D QO & QOB circuit breakers are a miniature thermal magnetic circuit breaker that provides over current protection and switching. Most new styles are equipped with a “Visi-Trip” indicator, which will allow you to visually see that the breaker has been tripped. These breakers have an Interrupt rating of 10 KA. The QO breaker is a Plug-On breaker that will work on QO load centers, NQOD panel boards, or Speed-D distribution panels. The QOB breaker is a Bolt-On breaker that will work on NQOD panel boards. Siemens/ITE/Bulldog Pushmatic Circuit Breakers Type P1, P2, and Duplex

Pushmatic circuit breakers range in brand including Siemens, ITE, Bulldog, & Gould. These brands are interchangeable, and the result of multiple companies merging. The Pushmatic breaker is still widely used within commercial and industrial world today. This is a very easy to use circuit breaker with a push button on / off switch. The breakers offer coil magnetic and thermal protection on each circuit*. At Surplus Salvage LLC., we offer an ever growing variety of Pushmatic breakers. These include the basic P1, P2, and Duplex type, along with ground fault breakers ( P120GF ), blank filler plates ( PFP3 ), and handle locks ( PHL1 & PHL4 ). Lintern Traffic Signal Dock Light

The first item of the week we have on auction starting Friday is a Lintern Traffic Signal Dock Light. This is a very nice item as it has never been used. The lights are Red and Blue and are in a dust proof enclosure measuring 16" x 8" x 6 1/4".Easy to change bulbs (60 watt Lamp Max) with 1/4 turn captivated fasteners. (Bulbs not included)

Item of the Week!

Surplus Salvage is starting a new Item of the Week promotion. Each week we will choose two or three items from our inventory to put on an auction beginning on Friday and running through the next week.

Starting this Friday we will have a Lintern Traffic Signal Dock Light on auction. The lights are red and blue and they are in a dust proof enclosure. These are super nice items they are New, Never Used.

We will also have a Insul 8 25' Cable Reel rated for Nema 2 Indoor Use and comes with a wall mount unit.

Buying a Safety Switch/Disconnect

Some key things to think about when buying a disconnect/safety switch are:

• Whether the unit is new or used
• If the unit is Fusible or Non-Fusible - if it is fusible, does it come with fuses that are the correct amperage
• Neutral & Ground - Make sure these are included if they are required. If you need to meet code, you may want to make sure the switch is rated with a neutral.
• Enclosures - Find out if the unit you are buying is the proper enclosure type for the job. For Example a Nema 1 is an indoor enclosure and a Nema 12 is dustproof, etc.
• Be certain that you are purchasing the proper voltage, phases, and amperage for the application.

• Condition - Although it is typically a safe bet to buy a used disconnect/safety switch, some used units have holes where wire has previously been run in and out of the them and some disconnects will rust. Just make sure you are familiar with the switch inside and out.
